1983
Founded in Bünde
The company starts out with the then-new low-voltage halogen technology. Its first customers are furniture manufacturers, supplied with tailor-made lighting solutions.
From 1990
A second line of business
Trading in exclusive, design-oriented residential and outdoor luminaires adds a second mainstay that continues to develop to this day. At the same time, the customer base grows to include shopfitters and interior contractors.
1995
New premises & expansion
Moving into the newly built company premises considerably enlarges the showroom and production space. The extended product range earns the company a good reputation well beyond Germany.
From 2000
The LED era
LED technology arrives – expensive and limited at first, it rapidly develops into a highly efficient, versatile light source. Klebe has accompanied this transformation from the very beginning and made it the core of today’s range.

Installation of a solar panel system
With our own photovoltaic system, we are investing in a sustainable and forward-looking energy supply. By using solar power that we generate ourselves, we are reducing our CO₂ emissions, reducing our dependence on rising energy costs and making an active contribution to environmental and climate protection.
